So on the way home from work tonight a pothole jumped out in front of the car and damaged my drivers side front tire. Any kind of road hazard come with the car that I don't know about? I really don't want to buy a new tire when I only have 1000 miles on the one I have. This sucks.

I don't know where in the USA you but most states have procedures to file claims for pothole damage. This is a link to Michigan's site. Just Google your state to see what your laws are..

read your warranty, re: gm. if youre in a state with potholes, you shouldnt be driving your runflats anyway. theyre dangerous tires in cold weather. buy all weather tires, and check them out for guarantees. i know the michelin A/S 3s have a road hazard warranty, which you should buy with any such low profile tire--only a matter of time; not if, but when.

somehow, I doubt if it will be covered by Michelin but maybe. when you have your tire replaced tho, make sure someone competent spins the wheel, too. if you recall the fellow who blew out his mrc suspension in AZ, he thought his tire and wheel(s) were ok. they were not, and both had to be replaced, at cost to him.
don't know where you live but the potholes around me are incredible. looking at some of them, if I hit them it would be an instant disaster. can't imagine not being able to see them at nite---I'd hit all of them!
