I read somewhere that GM fills allocations on Thursday's of every week. Is this correct? Thanks.

Allocations are given to dealers to fill on Thursday--correct.

Thanks. Then I should hear from my dealer today, good or bad. He mentioned to me last week that my order SHOULD be picked up by GM this week

I ordered back on July 11th a Z51 vert. Not that I'm in a rush or anything but I am due for some positive news...

Ah, I see you are in Canada. GM has been very two-faced with our Canadian friends. First, an MSRP that was very close to the US price, but then minuscule allocations north of the border. Not very nice of GM.

You are so right! Pricing is finally inline with US, factor in 10% exchange right now this car, for me, is cheaper to buy up here in CDN dollars.

But I understand only 300 allocations for Canada. All have been taken and there are waiting lists at most Montreal dealers. You just can't get a 2014 up here anymore!!

Yep not good--sorry to hear. With the build rate at 165 per day at Bowling Green, that's only two days worth of builds for all of Canada.

And yet there are quite a few (28 right now), listed on AutoTrader.ca showing as in-stock at various Canadian dealers... Including Z51's

Not saying they have the exact options everyone wants but they are out there.

We have a local dealer who has 17 unsold C7's in stock and one of them is an AW/ Kalahari Z51 Vert. A friend and I were there and we both agreed, that combination was just beautiful. In our opinion the best looking C7 he had in stock and he had most colors. Good luck with yours.

I ordered mine today. Z51 AW 1lt. Dealer told me the Z51 is on constraint and my guess is as good as his on wether I will see it or not. He said if I wanted a regular 1lt without the package I could probably get it fast or he could dealer trade for pretty much mostly what I wanted. The system is pretty confusing! And frustrating.
