Default capture test fleet

I am in the middle of reading the new book "Corvette Stingray- the seventh generation of America's sports car". the big coffee table book for $40 through the museum.
inside the book it references the 300 or so captive test fleet vehicles built to validate manufacturing processes as being saleable units.

have any captive test fleet vehicles shown up as available for sale.
anywhere?
I personally had a test drive in a captive test fleet vehicle in bowling green in late june 2013 while there for the 60th anniversary celebration ( at the museum).
the bowling green employee was visiting friends who were staying at the same hotel as us. long story, but to the point I was allowed to drive it. it had a plaque/badge identifying it as captive test fleet number ______ ( I cant remember).

just curious if these cars have in fact been made available to the dealers for ultimate sale to consumers

Last summer I talked to an employee at the Bowling Green plant who was driving a C7 as part of the employee evaluation which is normal with new versions. This may be part of the captive fleet. He drove a Torch Red C7 daily, but his "drive home" car was a Red C6 Z06 which he bought from Chev after it was part of his evaluation. That may also be the case for these cars. Those doing the evaluations might get a "deal" to buy them once the testing is done. I don't know that for a fact, but it was true in at least one case.
