Default Too late?

Does anyone know when the cut off point to changing my order is? I am still at "order placed" in the chevy tracking site and am thinking of adding magnetic ride control to my z51. Really not in my budget but the more I read the more I feel that this is money well spent.

You are likely still fine but I'd decide today and call your dealer tomorrow.

Now prepare for all of the messages with opinions on whether or not you need that option - easily the most popular debated option on Z51 models (and maybe we can rekindle the old C6 debate on whether Z51 is a model or an option).

Have a great day.

Once you hit status code 3000 I believe for most cases you are locked into the build. Anything prior to 3000 may be able to be changed probably with some limitations (constraints, etc)

I agree that if you know you want to change your order, best call the dealer tomorrow and get it done. Some orders have seemed to move pretty fast.

You are definitely still at the point that your order can be changed.

You can change, MRC isn't under constraint so shouldn't slow you down.

If you are still at 1100 (order placed) change options at will. Once you get assigned the coveted 2000, depending how fast the process is moving, changing options could delay production indefinitely.

You should be fine if you call tomorrow. Adding the mag ride will not be a mistake. I wouldn't have a Z-51 without it.
