Default Looking to replace stock C7 wheels

I have a non-Z51 crystal red C7 on order, but I don't like the wheels. Any suggestions on vendors and wheel style? Looking for a reliable vendor and quality, better looking wheels.

Seriously....just glance around at the threads. Several vendors regularly post threads and have tons of pics.

I see Z51 wheels, and Z51 wheel and tire packages for sale on this forum.

I don't know if you like that look, but I like it as well as any of the aftermarket wheels I have seen on this site.

I get that. Was looking for vendor reputation/record of quality.

HRE's are crazy expensive but not $10k, more like about $6k for a set, plus tires if you don't stick with 18/19 wheels.

Since the wheels are being changed, then the wheel and tire sizes can go to 9.5"/11" wheels and 265/305 tires. A 18/19 setup will find tire diameters about 1/2" less than stock, a 19/19 setup will find tire diameters about 1/2" less than stock, but a 19/20 setup will find tire diameters abut 1/2" more than stock.

The target wheel offsets for 9.5"/11" wheels and 265/305 tires would be 51mm front and 74mm rear.

Oz Superleggera III at about $900 each:

Front, 19 x 9.5, 59mm, use a 5mm spacer, 265 tire
Rear, 19 x 11, 75mm, 305 tire
Rear, 20 x 11, 75mm, 305 tire

Front, 19 x 8.5, 51mm, 245 tire
Rear, 19 x 10.5, 76mm, 285 tire
Rear, 20 x 10.5, 76mm, 285 tire

BBS RS-GT:

Front, 18 x 9, 54mm, 255 tire, $900 each
Rear, 19 x 10.5, 75mm, 295 tire, $1320 each

Oz Superforgiata at about $1400 each:

Front, 19 x 8.5, 55mm, 245 tire
Rear, 20 x 10, 79mm, 285 tire

And there are custom order Forgelines at about $1400 each
.

I've always liked the CCW offerings, and the TSW Nurburgrings are very nice too.

Mid range HRE's don't miss 10K but by a whisper. Half their catalog is more expensive yet. You can get two piece HRE's in the 6K neighborhood. I.e. 560R's which I like are under 6K. But not HRE mono blocks.

We got standard wheels knowing we were going to replace them. When the arrived, I was pleasantly surprised, they look pretty nice. Of course you have no choice but to see them on the car and you might be less harsh given perfect information.

I don't like the Z51 wheels nor that tuning fork look. That style is on Hyundai's and MB's alike. Check out the shopping center parking lot, tuning forks are ubiquitous.

Want something different? Have your set of OEM's stripped and powder coated. You end up with a custom one of wheel just for you. Need a set to powder coat so your car isn't down? PM me.

CCW's are not clear coated. Meaning you are a forever married to detailing them. The available sealants increase the service interval, but don't eliminate it. CCW's have a nice look, decent price, good rep, but I've got zero interest in Simichrome and buffing them to keep them looking nice.
