I just placed my order for a C7 and decided that I had to have the personalized plaque. My question is how does GM know what to put on the plaque? Will they eventually call or email me? Or do they just automatically put on the name of whoever ordered the car?
I heard from someone on a different forum that the museum will eventually call and ask you but I wanted to make sure.

I think there is room for 24 letters/spaces. I have to see if I can get another 1 as now that my wife has her own C7 vert ordered with just her name I want to get 1 with just my name for MY coupe !

OP if you are planning to have your name on the plaque, GM gave up engraving the word "for" before your name. If you want the word "for" before your name you have to include it in the 24 letter/spaces available.
