Floor Jack for C7
In the process of getting the garage ready for the new C7 Z51 (can't tell you how relieved my wife will be when it gets here and I stop obsessing).
Would like to buy my first floor jack / jack stands and I have two questions:
- what clearance will I have for a roll under floor jack (and any specific recommendations would be welcome)
- if I use the lift point (likely with a puck) to lift the car where should I place the stand?

I bought one of the Harbor Freight "Aluminum Racing Jacks" for about $60 on sale. Worked great with my C6 and see no reason it will be any different with my C7 
Absolutely use jacking pucks (I use regular 'ol hockey pucks) under the proper jacking points as shown on page 10-4 in the C7's Owners Manual
