Have any of you had the 4B00 status (bayed) on your stingray order? If so, how long was it bayed for and what reason. According to my dealer it is ready to ship ? I'm getting anxious!
Mine was built 2/14, "shipped" 2/17, hit status code 4200 - Intermediate Delivery, and is now sitting in Toledo, OH with status code 4B00 - Bayed... presumably waiting to get loaded on a train or truck

Well it must be getting closer then? Thanks for the info
I believe 4200 is shipped, and 4300 is intermediate delivery. Anyway I think the 4B00 will be a short pause on the journey from what I have seen. I hit 4200 week ago and I too am still awaiting arrival. But I believe my car is being transported by truck all the way.

Yes, you are correct, I should have said 4300 - intermediate delivery
I was also bayed for one day after my build date of 2/13, but that was before it left the factory. Then it was trucked to Toledo and sat a couple days before getting on a train. Today the train is in Cheyenne, WY. First time the train has stopped for more than 6 hours from what I can tell by my OCD tracking.

Thanks in advance.
Mine was bayed at the factory for 10 days considered "in a quality control hold" for undisclosed reasons. Alledgedly I was finally told for adjustment of the door panels, but 10 days was a long time for that.
I went from bayed for a week, and I checked every two days after it was built, to delivered to the dealership with no indication from GM customer service it was ever shipped. (It came by truck not by rail). As a matter of fact two hours after I saw it at the dealership before it was prepped I got an email from GM customer service letting me know that it could be 2-3 more weeks until I saw my car delivered. I did check the VIN to make sure it was mine

That's pretty poor tracking on GM's part to say the least
Well, that is a nice surprise when you think the car is still in BG, and the phone rings and the dealer is like when are you coming to pick this up
Colorado. Latest update - loaded on railcar 2/28 in Toledo, OH; arrived at Gibson, IN late 2/28. So basically 14 days from the build to getting on a train. At least it's finally on its way.
My car was bayed for right at 2 weeks before she took the short ride over to the NCM. Picking her up next Fri. How does one find out why a car is bayed?
