Looks as if the vette ate the deer
You are very fortunate there are just nicks and scratches. Most encounters with a deer cause the vehicles to be towed away. Very few get to drive home.

Definitely a bummer. I nearly got a deer on my trip home from the NCM. 5 of them darted across the Natchez Trace Parkway right around sundown not too far outside Natchez, MS.

Yes.. The control of the C7 was a huge favor... 65 to 30 In a blink of an eye... The deer did Not survive ...

There is something to be said for driving a car with a low hood line.
A friend driving a small SUV totaled it when she hit a Deer. She ended up with a bump on her noggin.
Glad you're OK. The Car can be easily repaired.

We have Relatives in Natchez.
The Trace is a beautiful Drive, but it is infamous for Deer strikes.
Only drove it during the Daytime.
