Thought I read somewhere here that modern car leather is coated with something that really doesn't let you access the leather surface itself so it's a waste of time to use those leather cleaning/conditioning products.....
I don't know what folks are using for their vette, but I've used Leatherique in my cars for a while. Currently, I use it in my M3 and it works great. Although it's been a little while since I've applied it since it's been so darn cold.
It comes in two solutions: the "rejuvinator oil" and "pristine clean". Use the rejuvinator oil first then clean it off with the pristine clean. Sounds opposite of what most do, but this is the way Leatherique works. The oil needs a hot day -- you let the car sit in the sun all day after applying it. I only use the oil once or twice a year. I use the cleaner more often.
There are other products that some swear by, but the Leatherique has worked for me.
If you have the micro fiber suede I wouldn't use anything on it other than maybe a damp cloth and a fine hair brush.

That's my understanding also. With my C6 I occasionally clean with a damp cloth. If it looks too dull after that, a little Aerospace 303 does the job.

Some are, some aren't. According to this article nearly every American and Asian car has a coating on its leather. But European leather is still mostly "naked".
So, I wonder if 2LT is coated and 3LT not? I guess I have to try that water drop test. It apparently really makes a BIG difference in what products to use for maintanance. If even the 303 guys say not to use 303 on real, uncoated, leather, I have to believe them...

Zaino Leather in a Bottle!. I did a similar post about 6 weeks ago. Several members recommended Zaino Leather in a Bottle, so I tried it. All I can say is: FANTASTIC.
For those of you still putting expensive treatments on your leather seats do this. Send me the money. I'll take my wife out to dinner with it and send you some jpg's of us having a good time. This is a more worthwhile endeavor than coating your seats with slime.
The seat leather is sealed with a coating. No matter what you put on them, it won't absorb into the leather. Zip nada. Countless threads about this here and with the C6 boys. Damp cloth does the trick. But won't take my wife out to dinner. You decide.
