Of course, most all of my younger friends love the look and even my wife likes the black wheels. But after many weeks of torment, I decided to go back. This week I'm putting on silver Z51 wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's. Now, I'm wondering if I'll ever go back to black.
Picking up Indy 28 black wheels this weekend!

I wanted black when I ordered but could not get them on my base coupe.

I will post a picture when I get them on my black/red and black C7.

So "young" and really hip old guys can have the black....chrome for me.

Love the variety though...imagine if all wheels were black, or silver, or chrome.

They all look good.

I'm just not feeling the black wheels. I love my silver ones!!

My grand Sport rims were chrome and I felt like a change...that and I thought the black Z51 rims were absolutely BAD A$$!

Don't like black, don't like chrome. Don't mind polished, prefer the silver-painted finish, thank you very much.

I should have it first week in April, so I will certainly come out to Boerne--I'll look up the event. Thanks for heads-up.
Well I am 51 in 2 days. With Artic white I think Black is the correct color for the wheels Two years ago I got a white and black harley with Black wheels, first time I went black instead of chrome on anything. I like it.

It's an interesting issue... I get by far the most compliments on the black wheels. People LOVE them with the black accents and CF roof on my TR C7. When the car was still in the showroom, people commented on how well the black wheels went with the car more than any other thing on the car... I agree

This is true and the only downside of the black wheels IMO... higher maintenance for sure compared to standard silver.

Beauty is a matter of personal taste. For years I have preferred the chrome look but times have changed for me. When I configured my order online with GM, I played with different combinations. For me, black wheels over red calipers were a turn-on.

Me too... I never liked black wheels prior to the C7 but on this car they are beautiful. I love them and they are one of my favorite exterior thing about the car.

I bought black with Arctic White but seeing these HRE Monoblocs I think one of the first things I'll be doing is selling my black wheels and going to the gray HRE's.
