4d00 bayed quality control ?

So my car has been made. Very excited about the entire ordeal. So me and my wife will be spending a week in Orlando starting on the 21st of March. My hope was to take the c7 on this trip ( we live in Michigan)

So I did some looking around for the meaning of 4d00 bayed and it's coming back as a quality control hold ?

Anyone had this code wondering how long a quality control check takes the factory ? My car does have the stripe wonder if this could have something to do with it ?

I sure would like to take the new corvette to Florida. Otherwise we're taking my wife's 08 yaris

so basically am I crazy to hope to see the car within 2 weeks ?

Oh that particular code is serious orange peel...nothing to worry about.

J/K - I really don't know but they probably did find something, and it needs repairs.

As the car moves through the factory, if there are any items that fail a QC check, it is noted on a sheet in the car and the car is pulled off at the end of the line and immediately goes to the repair bays where the issue is corrected.

I would delay the trip in a second if I could. This is the last week my wife has to do anything for a long long time.
