Discs are yellow
I have 200 miles on my c7 z-51 and my rotors are yellow!

I washed it. I have black wheels, yellow calipers, and a yellow film on the discs. I will take pictures.

it's rust... drive it about 3 miles ( or less ) and it will be gone... assuming you use your brakes a couple of times.

It's rust. Completely normal. Drive it up the street and back and apply the brakes firmly a few times.

Normal oxidation. First brake application will polish the rotors and they will shine once more.

I have the 2012 Centennial GS with black wheels and I washed it the nite before a show. The next morning I drove it to the show and when I got there the wheels had that yellow tint. It sucks! I was smart enough to order my 2014 Z51 coupe with black wheels! Just have to deal with it.

Have your brakes checked for jaundice. Sounds like their hepatic portal vein is occluded.

I will see if that check is part of gm warranty.
