Looks like a service visit is in your future. Good luck, hope it gets resolved fast.

Houston, we have a problem. That definitely is haywire. You could try to disconnect the battery and see if it fixes it but that looks like a hardware issue. Probably a loose connector to the display or something inside the display. I'd expect this to be requiring a visit to the dealer unless a battery disconnect solves it which would almost be surprising. Curiously, do you open and close your display frequently?

I do open the screen a lot. .. sunglasses, wallet,ect... is stored in this compartment....I recorded this because if I brought it into the dealership, the screen would be perfectly normal.... so this video would prove that there a problem. ...

Mine did that yesterday, I pushed the open/close button and it stopped. I've read here on CF, back in November that this was happening on early C7's (mine is early#744) and a fix was to be available in FEB/March.

Mine is in the 900's...I brought it back in October.... I'm going to bring mine in next week.....I think it has to do with the connection that connect to the screen...I touch it and it stopped, then as soon I stopped touching the screen connection or started again... anyways GM will make good on fixing it...

My center screen had to be replaced, but the symptom looked a bit different than that. It looked like the power was getting taken away, on and off, still made it jump sort of like the one in the video. I think it was caused by the botton at the top that the screen hits when it comes up to turn it on. They replaced the entire unit. I have VIN 469.

Here's a video of mine:

Finally bringing it into the dealership to get it checked out again. That video was from December, but couldn't reproduce it at the dealership. Now it's gotten much worse, so I'm hoping they can find it now.

Dealer is replacing the entire display unit. And found new bulletin stating the message "Service Power Steering. Drive safely" is a "normal" message when transitioning from a non-slippery road to one that is slippery or vice verse. I've brought the car in for both of these problems before, so I'm happy they are resolved. The brakes are also squeeling -- this is a new issue that started this week, and they are applying a lubricant based on a service bulletin.

Yay for everything being fixed. Sad that my car will be in the shop until tomorrow night because they have to wait for the display and lubricant to be shipped to them. Have a 2013 Malibu as a loaner, and I wonder to myself... Why is it's infotainment screen better than the corvettes? The touch is more sensitive, and it responds a lot faster.

Mine had a similar problem where half of the nav screen would blink off and on. WHile it was doing this the entire touch screen also was frozen. Previous to this issue my center odometer screen faded out to all black. Took a restart of the car to get back to normal. This happened twice. Took to the dealer today to assess and they said they had to replace the center console monitor and that it would fix both the nav and the center display issues. I guess we wait and see. Will take a week or so for the new screen to get here. Only good part of this issue is that since they have to take the dash off the replace the screeen I have decided to purchase the carbon fiber dash kit. Dealer said they would install it instead of the existing plastic one for free since they have to remove the plastic one anyway which wil save me about $500 from getting it new on the car as an option at purchase.
