I learned back in my two wheel days, the best thing for exhaust to plexiglass windshields was Semichrome. You can get it at many bike shops. I bought a buffing cone for my drill and it works great inside the trumpets. It's hard now to tell they're not chrome .

I bought a "polishing kit" from a vendor for my C6 that included Semi-Chrome. The polish works, but their drill bit buffers were pretty bad. I use the Nevr-Dull because the wadding is so simple, but the Semi-Chrome paste works well too with some rags.
Get a mothers "power cone" and any good metal polish, I use Borla. Literally 3 min from ok looking to great looking. I then opti coat the flare to make soot blow off....BTW, the cone is killer for wheels, too.....
Good Job. I bought that same cone from Wallmart a week or so ago, haven't used it yet. Here's mine with Semi-Chrome and used the cloth cone from Home Depot.

I bought the large can of Semichome through Amazon for $26 which is a great price for a person who uses it for lots of applications.
