I'll leave my On Star connected for the "tracking" feature which means lower insurance costs. The feature of unlocking the doors is another plus and the free six months of "turn by turn" navigation instructions may come in handy even with the Stingray's NAV system.
Not sure there is an easy way to disable On Star.
