Do you guys realize the number of engineering hours and windtunnel
hours that went into the design of that grill to get it to flow air properly,
and then you're just going to throw any old redesign at it???

I came across this thread looking for information on how to get leaves out, but I sure hope this isn't the easiest way. The vent must connect to a duct, but is there a way to remove the lower end of the duct, where the leaves will be sitting? There's got to be an easier way to clean that out once a year or so.
There's also a big opportunity for someone to make covers for these vents, like aircraft use on cowl intakes.
Cheers,
Rusty

Very cool video...thanks Glen. Can you tell if these are wire mesh SS electroplate or simply stamped cut SS? The best products out there over the years have been the Racemesh versions, which are true wire mesh...like on the Jags and other exotics.
never mind...saw the title...laser mesh...not the most attractive.

For removal, an vacuum and a flexible hose the fits though the grill might work with some careful effort. I'd love to see a picture that shows the coolers and ducting, since I don't really know what's in there (Z51 7spd).
