Does Xpel help with minor scratches and Swirl Marks ?
Thinking about getting Xpel done for my car, I am noticing few swirl marks on my car around the spoiler and door handles, does Xpel help with those or it doesn't really make a difference ?
Thanks
Thanks

XPEL is like a screen protector for your phone; it protects against any damage. It shouldn't get swirl marks like paint does. But I am sure if you apply enough force with sand paper, you could make some marks.
This is based on what I have read in the past, I don't have it installed.

it does not help with the swirl marks if they are pre existing in the paint already. it can actually do the opposite and amplify imperfections. best bet is to have the swirls addressed then applying the film after the fact. once installed you won't have any of these swirl problems

People seem to forget that Xpel Ultimate is a self-healing film. That is to say that if it DOES get scratched, heat reflows the surface and the scratches disappear.
Sure, you NEED to have the paint underneath it as flawless as possible before you apply it. But swirls and light scratches are a thing of the past once you have Xpel installed.
