Default Resetting TPMS

Does anyone know what the procedure is for this? I have new (and correctly ordered based on my VIN) sensors and the indication on the dash is that they have malfunctioned. The manual doesn't say how to reset them and allow for them to attempt another auto recal, was thinking about maybe just disconnecting the battery and seeing if it would allow for the system to try to relearn on its own. Anyone?

As far as I know, they self program. All you need to do is drive the car for about 10 minutes or stay on idle for a bit longer.

Thanks FDG, I do understand that they self program, but you'd think there would be a way to reset the system when there is a fault and allow for a new self program cycle to start.

I don't think there's an easy way to do this. Pulling the right fuse might do it. Other than that, you might want to consider disconnecting the battery.

I agree. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

If i only knew what the problem is! I'll try the battery when the weather breaks and hope that allows for a new self program cycle.

Update....after about 220 miles the thing just started working. I didn't do anything, but they finally reset themselves and just started working. Who knows why it took so long.
