I am sitting in my c7 with the engine running trying to go from touring mode to sport mode. The screen which shows the mode at the bottom kept going between weather mode and track mode nothing in between. I finally shut off car and tried again and everything was ok. Anyone else have this problem?
The control is counter-intuitive. You have to use it as if you are moving the window frame, not the text. So to go from Tour to Sport, you rotate the **** clockwise, to 'move the window' to the right.

That is what I was doing. When I turned it left it went all the way to weather mode and when I turned it right it went all the way to track mode without letting me stop it at sport mode.
Wow there's a lot of stuff to figure out on this car. I just figured out the radio and media stuff. Had a heck of a time figuring out how to turn the AC down. Who would have figured a dial! Maybe when it's 3 years old I'll have mastered it all.
Yeah...the driver mode dial sometimes goes one too far either way when I'm switching modes. I've gotten into the habit of giving it a quick twist and it works well.

If you have any questions on the different modes, shoot us a message with your VIN. We'd be happy to troubleshoot it with you!

Also I have a LOT of OP, Nav. Screen was stuck on Settings until a few re-starts, dash screen will not change when I turn mode switch and can someone tell or show me if the front grille chrome piece snaps off with out having to break it?

The chrome strip has little tabs that are best accessed from the back side which requires grill removal. If you are just planning on painting it, it's easier to mask it and paint it or cover it with vinyl like I did. It will look perfect.
Edit:
As for the dash screen not changing with the modes, there is an option in the settings menu to lock the dash screen to the mode. Your option is probably set to one of the other modes. If you hit the left arrow on the right side of the steering wheel's dash mode control interface, scroll down to settings and hit the select button. Once in settings hit the right arrow on that interface and toggle up to "link to mode" and hit the select button.
