Just a guess, railroad yard. That is the only intermediate delivery point I can think of.

Yep.

Once my car was put on a truck to the retail head in Toledo I was at 4300 until the time the railcar was unloaded here in California when it went to 4800.

So my vehicle, at event code 4300 is to be delivered in Arizona , which I assume means Rail.. Which rail carrier would transport to this location and at what point should I be able to obtain information on the vehicles location? Can I just provide a VIN number to the rail guys?

Once your car gets on a train you can get the ETTX or CNA number from your salesman and use the info in this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...shipments.html

Try looking at the link I gave you, and any rail searches here. They use CSX and UP.

Both tracking systems worked for my car all the way to California.

The rail car will get switched from CSX to UP somewhere along the route. Another hold in a rail yard as they make up the train.
