Default Do Corvette owners still wave?

When I was a kid, my dad used to give a friendly wave to other corvette drivers when coming in opposite directions. I did it with my 1981 Vette years ago but not all waved back.

I'm picking up my C7 soon and wondering if this wave is a thing of the past or a tradition corvette owners have kept alive?

Yup, we wave all the time at other Vettes. Even if we're not in ours

All the time...sometimes they may not see you, but most will wave. My wife's car is a Jeep wrangler, and those guys wave as much as Corvette guys.

I always wave and usually get a wave back or vice versa. Here in So. Cal, it's still a tradition.

I do, but rarely do they wave back........Maybe they don't recognize a C7 yet.

I've had a few wave back.

Does one finger qualify as a "wave"?

I've gotten more waves from Kids riding Crotch Rockets than the Old Guys driving Corvettes. I chalk it up to the younger folks having better eyesight.

I get waves from most Corvette drivers, although there are aren't that many around here. But I've gotten far more waves in my C7 from non-Corvette owners. I don't recall getting any from non-Corvettes in my C6.

Corvette wave is international as we always wave here in also.

I notice that Mustang owners do not wave to other stang aficionados... maybe because there are 4 of them at every light?

For Vett owners it's an event so

I have a C7, a DD Wrangler and a motorcycle. All three have their own waves among enthusiasts. I find myself waving a lot

I always wave, but since my windows are so dark I flash my high beams too!
