Default Finally Arrived

Well this past Friday night I was finally able to pick up my new Cyber Grey Metallic C7. The build date was 3/5 but Chevy's infinite wisdom thought it wise to take three f&*king weeks to deliver it here to Southern California by rain.

Regardless of that it is here and now in my garage. What an amazing car. This is our 5th Vette and there is no comparison. This car is AWESOME. going to have the windows tinted this week and new wheels put on it next weekend. Can't wait. Better pictures to follow soon

Congratulations! Your car looks great. The ride is so refined, it hardly feels like a corvette. In the future I'll be really interested in your impressions of driving it, since you've had so many corvettes.

Whoie15 I didn't order or purchase through Delillo. I simply used them for the courtesy delivery. I bought the car from Tommy at MacMulkin Chevrolet in New Hampshire. Great transaction and several thousands of dollars below MSRP. I wouldn't buy this car in Southern California for another year or so. Just this weekend the dealer in Torrance called me and asked if I wanted a Z51 at $7,500.00 over MSRP.

Thats for the info! I had a feeling socal was running short or overpricing. Puente hills had the nerve to ask me what I did for a living then after I told them they tell me "5k down + 5k over msrp and you're 17 on the waiting list". I just smirked at the salesman and left. It's crazy here in SoCal! Fortunately I found a dealer in redwood (between sf & San Jose) and they were able to build my car at msrp (no discount [im okay with that])
Anway order went in on 3/18, quered for production went in on the 19th. By any chance do u know when I should have it delivered in Cali ? Thank you in advance

Call Win in Carson,CA. I ordered and got mine at MSRP, and they have the biggest allocation in so cal.

Thank you for this info. I saw ur old post last week about getting ur car in Carson (I believe it was you) but I jumped the gun and just made the assumption Carson would be out of stock too so I just went with this redwood dealer. Out of curiosity. My purchase order was in the stage of "quered for production" since the 19th by any chance do u know how long before I get to the "production complete " stage? Thanks!

I ordered in December and I got to production complete in February. It took a month for it to be delivered so I picked it up in the third week of March. But I did go through the 2 week plant shutdown in december/january. It definitely should not take as long as it took me to get your car. I think late April/early May would be a good estimate for you.
