I had the problem where the dash lights were too low around Dusk. The dealer flashed the computer with a fix and now it appears to be the same brightness all the time. Also when I turn the brightness ****, it appears to have no effect. How should this **** operate?
PM Marissa or Kelley @ Chev. Customer Service. There is a fix for this issue. They will contact your local dealer and arrange an appointment for you & send computer fix/upload to your local dealer. Takes about 1 hour for dealer to upload to your new C7. You won't have this issue ever again after the upload. Good luck.

There's a fix for the fix? OP already had a reflash for the dim lights at dusk.
My dimming **** didn't work from the factory. It didn't even turn the interior lights on. It turns out that it was disconnected. The dealer connected it, updated my computer, and it works fine now. I don't think you can adjust the dimness level in the daytime though. I might be wrong on that. I need to check.

You are correct, the **** doesnt do anything to the dash lights unless the headlights are on (dusk/night).
