I filled out an online application in the morning. They approved my loan in 3 hours.

When my car finally arrived at the dealership, I called PenFed, and they overnight the check right away without any fee.

But the weird thing was that my dealer let me pick up my car w/o paying for it lol (my credit was good enough to do that according to them)!!! I received the check the following day and paid for it. I really enjoyed their service.

I've financed three vehicles with Penfed. Apply over the phone, instant approval, overnight check. Penfed sent a document to the dealership to confirm everything and I left with the car. The check came to my house, I signed it and overnighted it to the purchasing dealership. Very easy transaction and would highly recommend.

PenFed rocks. I did 100% of my car's value + tax because it was 2.99% for 72 months. Basically free money. I sold my C6 with ~10k in equity and didn't put any towards. Using it to pay off a student loan instead.

Default I think I Will apply

Should I also use my wife on the loan? I wonder what kind of credit they want? I was thinking of borrowing 56k for the longest time they allow so I don't dip into my 401k

just applied and pre-approved which took about 10 minutes. Smooth transatransaction. Once I have the VIN, and final numbers, I call them back which they will overnight the check to me for a small fee (15.00).

1.99% APR. 60 Months $53k Loan. Total amount I will pay out with interest after 60 months is $55.8k (aka Finance charge $2.8k). Monthly payments = $930

You go in, they ask for your income. Tell them. They then weigh it vs your current outstanding debt and approve/deny. I've never seen anyone who has a stead income get denied. Honestly, if you don't have a steady income, you prob shouldn't be looking at Corvettes either.

Strangely enough, PNC (my primary bank due to how many physical ATM's they have in my area) also offers 1.99% as well. Had I known, I would have gone with them to save myself the trouble of opening a new account elsewhere. Check your primary bank first. You might be surprised the rates they can do for you.

thanks Kratos. What are you buying? I also found another place called lightstream.com which actually put the money into your checking account the same day. Might try them first but let's see what the dealer offers.

2016 red 1LT. Has the rear spoiler, NPP, and battery protector. Just have to argue on price tomorrow. I will post a link.

he offered 15% off the 60k. They have it on sale for 10% off. So 51k plus taxes title and $199 admin fee.
i don't like the 32 miles on it . But I put 5 miles on it today. The tires smelled like rubber when I returned it. Lol do these cars get regular oil changes? Nothing special about them right? Also can you tell the temperature of the tires? I did see a psi screen.?

15% off seems like a great deal especially when the forum dealers are at 13.25%! I will have to defer to your questions as I have never owned a vette.... but I would sweat the 32 miles! As far as the smell of rubber.... isn't that normal with these cars! Lol

btw... tell them you are not paying admin fee of 199.00. They can deduct from the price of the car especially since a 2016. Macmulkin is giving 20% off 2016s.
