Loving ceramic matrix gray metallic for 2019. Now if I could only decide whether to get the two tone adrenaline red or gray for the interior...

You 2 guys are WAAAY off.
The best color ever offered for the C7 is Long Beach Red.
I can't drive anywhere without people asking me what color it is...no kidding.
I, for one, would...

After all, would anybody buy a Ferrari that wasn’t red? Or a Jaguar (or any British roadster) that wasn’t British Racing Green?

Well...
I don’t care what the most popular color is, but I do know this...Laguna Blue is the most beautiful. And that might be why they’re bringing it back next year albeit with a new name, “Elkhart Lake Blue”.

when my son and I took a tour at the factory the tour guide for our group told us that white was number 1.
I must say that for me, Well my 2016 was torch red. Now my 2017 is long beach red with a black top. (vert)

AW has only been popular with the C7. I remember when I ordered my first new Corvette in 1979. It was white with a red interior. They said I was crazy for ordering a white car because no one would want it when I finished with it. I have had many, many white corvettes over the years and it has always been at the bottom of the chart as far as numbers - until now.

Can anyone explain why Blade Silver is always in the bottom half of the list, sometimes near the bottom, but never gets replaced. Meanwhile, Cyber Gray, Shark Gray and Watkins Glen Gray all were in the top half of the list, typically second or third and all three have been replaced. I like silver, but Blade Silver isn't as nice as some of the deeper silver colors from the past like Cortez Silver or Machine Silver. I can't figure out why they haven't moved to a different silver.

But if you add the 2 reds together it's red overall at 20%....

If we're going by sales and production figures, you have to give Arctic White the nod.
If you was to ignore that on go strictly by word of mouth on these forums, probably Torch Red.
Biggest surge in popularity: Sebring Orange
Biggest popularity dip...probably Silver (?)
PS: I don't know if you'd call them skewed or inflated numbers, but Watkins Glen Gray had a huge backing of the Collector's Edition release (only available in WGG) for 2017. That added an allocated +900 in production on top of sales outside of that specific model. Still a great color though.

Color popularity goes in cycles. Bright orange (not rusty) has suddenly gotten popular on many makes, not just the new C7 Sebring Orange, but it may be a fleeting trend. It was huge in the late 60's/early 70's, and that imprinted on me as a teenager.

I first laid eyes on this 1969 beauty as a college freshman...I’ll never forget it...”The Judge”. Might be a surprise to the younger guys to realize that this bright orange is nothing new and that it was popular 50 years ago!
