C7 Sensors
Does anyone know what the sensor located at the top of the windshield facing outward is used for? It seems to be part of the rearview mirror assembly. I plan on tinting that area in order to get rid of that teardrop look in the center of the windshield. I've checked the manual and was only able to find the lighting sensor in the middle of the dash. Thanks...

The humidity and windshield
temperature sensor is on the
windshield glass inside surface near
the rear view mirror. The automatic
climate control system uses this
sensor to receive information.
If any of these sensors are blocked
or covered, the automatic climate
