Performance driving courses
I live in NW Indiana and looks like mid may delivery on my z51. Can anyone recommend a performance driving course that you have attended within a few hundred miles. I am not looking to race but would like to not be a total rookie when I get some track time.

Once you start driving this great performance car on the track its hard to stop. There are many reviews on this school and I have attened many times that I stopped counting. I have Never been disappointed at Spring Mountain.

Skip Barber has driving schools at several race tracks, including Road America in WI and the Autobahn in Joliet, IL. They are excellent courses and are very close to you. Here is a link to their site.

local events
check out "Hooked on Driving" great lakes region. They even have corvette as a sponsor. For a future treat maybe use your certificate within a year of your C7 delivery for the Ron Fellows school and get some cheaper airfare to vegas well in advance.
