How much of a problem is the dual roof constraint? What does the 20% constraint mean? My order is going in this week via Macmulkin.

There is a possibility that the first allocation after you place your order could qualify for dual roofs. However, statistically, your dealer would have to get 5 coupe orders to be fairly sure of getting a coupe with dual roofs. That doesn't even take into account that every third allocation or so is for a convertible, which doesn't even count towards the total of 5.
Since the clear top has started to show up into the dealer accessory channel, I would get either the painted or clear-coat CF roof.
MacMulkin has 40-42 allocations for coupes per two week cycle, so I don't see that being any real issue as Tommy should be able to order 8 of his coupes with the two roof package, which is pretty close (actually slightly higher) to what the historical take rate is.
I would not be concerned at all.
That means that only 20% of the allocations will allow that option. So yes, it liable to cause you a problem.
at what point would you know this would be a problem? prior to delivery or at ordering time? when would a person have to make a decision to change his order?
