Give both a try and see what you like best.....

On full throttle acceleration (in Touring or Sport) with trans. in Drive, does it start in 1st or 2nd. I've asked this question before and get no definitive answer. Chuck - do you know?

Last Friday I went to a local track along with a bunch of other members of our Corvette Club and got to try out my C7. Now as how the A6 shifts compared to my C6's A6 is excellent. In fact, the track was really tough to hook up on but under full throttle the shifts were so quick that it'd break loose between 1-2 and also 2-3. It was a little scary after being used to running at much better prepped and used tracks up north. I did get best results coming off at idle which also after my old car's performance window was really pleasantly surprising. I'm sure a tranny tune would help but as for now, I'm happy with the way the C7 performs as is.

Hey guys the trans is full functioning. It does trop down to first gear and is very fast shifting going through the gears. I live in East Tennessee and get to go thru the mountains pretty often. I leave the trans in drive and use the paddles to run threw the gears and been able to even down shift to first gear. In the Sport and Track the Active Trans functions still works and is a ball to use, they are so much more faster with the trans tune install. Hope this helps with some of your question. I AM SO HAPPY I GOT ALL THE TUNES( engine trans and the Cow Booster) that Chuck Cow offers.
Chuck hope you had a great and relaxing Birthday.
