Just wondering if anybody knows if Gm will add a microsuede interior to the black 3lt as is the brownstone. I mean brownstone is nice and all but come on the majority of vette buyers will choose black. Dont we deserve that option too? Lets all give GM our opinion. I truly believe that Gm is listening now to our taste and they are coming through. So lets speak up!!!
I think it already is an option. They just don't offer the console door and side pieces in the black microfiber. I know you can get the seat inserts, upper trim along with the steering wheel, shifter & shift boot in black microfiber.
You can get micro-fiber suede seat inserts and upper trim, but not the pieces on the door, console lid and dash. It's no coincidence that the "Premier" editions have Brownstone interiors and only Brownstone has the extra micro-fiber suede.

That is what I mean. Why is brownstone the only color with microsuede door panels, center console and dash? Black is just as elegant and should be offered in that combination too.

I do agree that the dash and door panel would add a nice element in the black interior. I'd like to think it may be an option down the line and was not offered in 2014 to allow for some exclusivity to the Premier Edition. Tine will tell.
It would certainly be easy and cheap enough to add some microfiber to the door panels through the aftermarket. I might just have to consider that once I get bored with my latest additions. I do like the microfiber though so I understand where you are coming from.
I hate these threads. They always seem to cost me money.
