C7 on The Ring
So, the new Corvette Stingray is reportedly faster than the C6 Z06 Z07 on GM's test track and the Mazda Raceway, Laguna seca. But, that does not mean that it is faster than it on the Nurburgring. The Camaro ZL1 is supposedly faster than the previous Z07 on Laguna seca, but, the Z07 is much faster on Nurburgring. So, those lap could not be applied unless there was a way to test performance stamina as well as sprint.
Afterthought - Why do people keep comparing the GT500 to the ZL1, the Stang has absolutely no where near the performance of the ZL1. The ZL1 has a blistering ring time, and the GT500 isn't even on the top 100 list for Nurburgring. (I know, this should be on camaro forum)
