It will only recognize Mpeg 4 video files. Transcode you files to MP4 and you should be fine.

Report back when you test it. I have not myself but then again, I really have no intents on watching videos on my display. Never did when I had those capabilities in my Z06 or my SUV's either (except for the kids) but it's always good to know you can.
