OFF button next to hatch release

Anyone know what the OFF button is, just to the right of the hatch release? I could not find it in the owner's manual.
It has a symbol that looks like a dot, with half circles radiating outward. (transmitter waves?)

It turns off the interior motion sensor for the alarm. It's useful if you leave a pet in the car for example.

I found it on page 2-18, under security, once I knew what to look for.

Also nice to use if you're going to jack up your car. I forgot to shut it off and the horn scared me yesterday.

The manual says that it disables both the intrusion and inclination sensors.
