Now the wait begins. Went down today and ordered a LRG-Z51/LT1, 7 Speed, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Performance Exhaust. Man I'm pumped. The new C7 sure makes my C5 seem old. How long have the wait times been running lately? Anyway we're off to tour the Bowling Green plant come Monday. My wife and I are both retired from GM with 30 years service. Going to enjoy this experience very much.
Ask your sales manger to show you a GM WORKBENCH ORDER showing a status code of 2000.until then you have nothing ordered with Chevrolet. It is just on paper at the dealership.

That's when GM starts to do something. If you're 1100, you're in the twelfth of never time frame.
Because my dealer was a large dealer they got my Z51 corvette in 3 weeks !!!! Hendrick Chevrolet KC ( allocation 59 coupes --- 25 convertibles ))) I live in the Seattle area and most dealers get 1-5 cars so sometimes there were bidding wars !!! No thanks !!! I flew to KC picked up my car and drove it home !!!! Wayne
I heard those are getting scarce as hen's teeth. Some where I read 250 remaining Z51 allocations for the whole US for the remainder of '14
As of today there is 9 weeks of production remaining that hasn't already been allocated. They average at least 700 cars per week of which half are Z51's. Out of that 350 per week about 75 are verts. That means there are roughly 2400 Z51 coupes yet to be assigned dealer orders in the 2014 MY run.
There's an allocation report I've seen that has some strange numbers on it. One I saw showed less than 100 total C7's available for that week nationwide which made no sense. I believe that even though the report says National on it there's another meaning. I'm pretty sure that number relates to additional allocation for that week over and above the consensus number sent out the week before, not the total number of orders being accepted.
Regardless, that 250 number is off by an order of magnitude.
themonk, Thanks and I have no idea about LRG being only for 2014. I've already got my Zanio and clay bars ready..
LRG is not a one year color as many haters predicted. I've had mine since October, and still get people saying they don't normally like green, but love this one. It will be interesting to see how many were ordered in comparison to other colors, and if it does as well as Polo Green did.

Congrats!
Feel free to contact us anytime for order status updates. We'd be happy to assist :thumb:.
amen, I learned the hard way. Finally had to cancel order and got a better deal off the showroom floor at another dealer....
I did the EXACT same thing. Ordered, then studied and learned the allocation process and quickly canceled my order. Got $750 of my $1000 deposit refunded and bought from a local dealer off the showroom floor.
OP, if your order doesn't move to 2000 within the next week or so, you should do the same.
