Default Something is not right--time for a trip to the dealership :0(

I Was driving normal speed around 30mph and all of a sudden the throttle response felt weird, I pressed on the gas pedal and the RPM around 1500 did a small lag and the car started shaking, and heard a loud pop from the exhaust like a gun shot (THIS WAS LOUDER THEN USUAL NORMAL POP) I parked the car and restarted the car and it' still doing the same thing I think it might be a NPP exhaust issue but I don't know how that should effect the throttle response? I feel like the car can't breath or something, did I blow a cylinder or something ? Oh man I am bummed Any suggestions ?

I doubt it's an exhaust issue unfortunately.

I'd say it is time for a trip to the dealer - what VIN and mileage? Z51? M7 or A6?

It could be a lot of things, but I would guess a worst case scenario would be intake manifold leak which would be a fairly straight forward repair. I think the chances for an easy fix are going to be pretty good. Don't despair - yet!

Hate seeing a local in trouble Hopefully it's nothing major...but this is why new cars have warranties.

Dropped my car at the dealership in the morning, had the service guy drive with me to show him the problem, he definitely noticed something was not right. He called me back within few hours and told me that he has great news for me, he said the spark plug wire was lose and thats why the system backfired. I was jumping up and down, I just picked up the car and its back to 100% "THANK GOD" They also told me my alignment was off and they took care of it, great service, Now I can sleep tonight

P.S ----- Check your Spark Plug Wires just incase
