Me too!!! TPW 5/19, museum delivery hopefully not long after. Anyone know the average delay between TPW and museum delivery? I'm thinking it shouldn't be as long as dealership delivery - but Im thinking logically and we all know how THAT works in relation to this process...

What I learned was this: (from previous experience, had a NCM Delivery before)

The Museum will call you once they know the date the care is produced and give you the date to expect to pick the car up at the NCM. Normally this for us might be mid-next week. The NCM will call you, so make sure they have more than your home telephone number. At that time you can make your travel arrangements. Just make sure you got the date from the museum when the car will be there.

Your dealer must send the paperwork in order for the museum to make a checklist. I would make sure your dealer has sent them the paperwork, or check with the NCM to make sure they got the paperwork.

The little plaque that is going to be on your car, make sure the museum KNOWS the correct spelling of your name, and if you add your wife's name now is the time to tell them that too.

Once the car is produced, which takes about two days, the factory sets the car in a Quality Control Quarantine for two weeks, then releases it to the museum for delivery. TWO WEEKS is what was told to me, but I have seen it less than that in the past.

That is what the NCM Delivery folks told me. So best I can tell it will be the first week of June, the cars will be ready to pick up at the NCM. If somebody knows something different, please let us know. All I can say is wait for the museum to call before you make any plans. They have the best info about your car's production.

So the best I can estimate based on what the NCM told me the cars will be ready to pick up on or about 5 June.

TPW 5/19 Tampa area, V Yellow, carbon top and spoiler, A6, 2LT, NPP OMG!!!
So the car is actually a gift to my wife and I am going nuts not telling her.
When I get it it will be in my dad's garage until mid August, then I will surprise her after dinner (I will post a video). So when the car arrives I will be tinting the windows and powder coating the wheels and having Expel (or something) installed. There will be lots and lots of trips to my parents 60 miles away.

Great news to all of you above. When do you think they will be ready to pick up at the NCM? Last week in May or first week in June?
