OnStar Deactivation
I pulled the OnStar fuse in the trunk and the mirror light fuse under the hood. Now, I found that the compass disappeared. I played around and found that I need the trunk fuse but not the under-hood one.
So much for trying to get rid of "big brother". I can do it but sacrifice the compass.

I've owned at least 6 vehicles with OnStar and I just don't want to be bothered with it. It has never done anything for me and I don't want to accidentally activate it which is very easy to do just by cleaning or adjusting your mirror.
