Doesn't want to close all the way, and seems to be binding on the trunk lid - anyone seen this?

I'll try to get a shot tomorrow - it does seem like an alignment problem. I may go out and give it a couple of tugs.

Yes, but the driver-side of the cover is not completely down (even with the top in the up position).

My wife found the problem. (She's an engineer.) Looks like a snap ring slipped off a bolt, allowing it to slide into a position where it bound against the edge of the convertible top compartment.

I feel totally stupid. Duh!
