OK, I know this is bizarre but my new C7 coupe (only 4 weeks old) has developed an intermittent old orange peel odor in the interior. If I leave the windows down in the garage overnight it is not there in the morning. It doesn't present itself until the car totally warms up and the windows have been closed for about 1/2 hour. This odor did not appear until about 3 weeks into my new ownership. The car has not been smoked in and never will be.
It is not a major problem but it is not a pleasant odor, not repulsive but not good and one I do not want to live with.
Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this? Antifreeze leak, overheated electrical or ???
Do you use the A/C a lot? If so, you may want to have the "afterblow" enabled. It is a setting that will cause the fan to run after the car has been turned off if certain conditions have been met (A/C on for a certain amount of time & outdoor temperature.) It dries off the coils to eliminate the smell.
I know that a lot of people say the orange peel on the C7 stinks but this is taking it a bit literally! LOL..
In all seriousness, I wonder if what you are smelling is the epoxy or resin from the composites or fiberglass. On hot days, I've smelled what smells like fresh fiber glass which is normal for new Corvettes and goes away with time.

Never mind. I feel quite stupid in my request for assistance. I figured it out myself.
I had performed the visor warning tag removal procedure as suggested by other forum members. Part of that procedure is to remove the residual glue with GOO-GONE. Guess what GOO-GONE is made of and smells like? Citrus. Oranges to be more specific.
I am over 70 years old so please cut me some slack and not be too hard on me for a needless thread.

Too bad it wasn't lemon instead of orange
Then you could have had the interior fumigated under your state's lemon law
