Well, you may or may not like the AeroWagon, but what a great ad for Callaway! The message conveys all the benefits of working with engineering professionals like Callaway to take the C7 to the next level of performance. And it's all done in cooperation with GM so you're just not bolting on an after-market S/C and blowing (no pun intended) your warranty, serviceability, etc.
Callaway is the best and their cars are truly unique.

If I was doing any serious mods to my Z, Callaway would, indeed, be my choice.
Their reputation is 2nd to none.

So, it must be for looks and looks alone.
I just don't see why there are not more options to give the coupe the C5Z look. This seems like an unmet need, especially in the C6 and C7 generations. C5 would probably just buy a Z06 or a FRC, but then have to loose the targa.

It's not that the C7 sport wagon looks so bad, it's more of a "so what". You don't gain that much in terms of practicality and you've lost the essence of the high performance sports car. At least it doesn't look bad, and it raises the question of a Corvette SUV.
On the other hand, there's that ugly 4 door Corvette pic, sort of a Panamera Corvette. I think the Porsche Panamera is one truly ugly car. Porsche typically takes a back seat to Corvette in the styling department, but the Panamera is a new low. The Corvette version of the four door sport vehicle doesn't do anything for me either.
Why is anyone messing around with a four door sedan concept? Sedans are continuing to lose ground to the SUV market, especially in the USA. Why invest in something that's not going to sell?

Callaway should be commended for continuously giving Corvette owners options not available from the factory - whether it is your cup of tea or not. Expanding storage space is always welcome, but the real limitation of the Corvette market is lack of seats.
Many Porsche fans thought the world was ending when they announced a four-door and a SUV. It didn't, they sold well and saved the company.
A lot of potential Corvette owners don't buy, or wait till kids are grown, because of lack of seats.
A Corvette sport-sedan and crossover would expand market share and bring younger (family) buyers to the Corvette brand.
I think Tadge and crew could make some exciting vehicles that would live up to the Corvette standard.

Melting Slicks
Panamera'ing up the vette doesn't fly.... It just doesn't... seem to be something that should not be done.
GM needs to resolve the automatic transmission and other issues before going off on some hair-brained, copy-cat, 'look, me too' idea. Who would buy it ? Whether or not porsche and the 911 have their parts/systems/tech issues, when most people think of them they think 'Quality engineering' and the Company pretty much backs it up with their service org. When you think Corvette, you think 'value' and 'bang for the buck' as in... It's close enough...
It's kind of like the Hyunday equus vs. Mercedes decision. If you had $60-$65k to spend, which would you spend it on ?

Burning Brakes
Personally I like it and they up the performance, The additional cost isn't to bad given the fit and finish. I am just not sure I would spend the extra for marginal space increase.
