Sky Link Security
We purchased our C7 on Saturday. We were offered Sky Link, but didn't accept knowing we could purchase at a later date.
Can anyone offer advice on Sky Link vs On Star. I do want a security system but don't feel I have enough information to decide which system is best.

I can tell you that if you want to recover you car then the Sky Link will be a better bet since OnStar can easily disabled.
I personally wouldn't pay extra for anything as if they do steal your C7, it's more than likely going to be on a Flatbed by a professional thief and I DON'T want the car back!

I'm with you runtuzzzzz, if my car gets stolen, I hope it is not recovered until after it is to the point that the insurance company would consider it totaled. That ought to take between 30 seconds (wreck it) and a couple of hours (strip it).

I know nothing about SkyLink but did a quick google. It looks like they offer GPS Tracking.
I can tell you that if you want to recover you car then the Sky Link will be a better bet since OnStar can easily disabled.
