Default How long?

I sent in my deposit at MacMulkin, super easy to deal with, wired the money and got a build sheet, which I confirmed, about a week ago, for CGM, on the last day to order. I was hoping someone could tell me usually how long before you hear a TPW, order status, or even if the order was accepted. I am not impatient, I know it will be a while before I see my car, was just hoping to get an idea time wise since im fairly busy and need to move some things around to pick it up.

P.S. I dont have any constraint items on my car.

Thanks in advance.

I dealt with MacMulkin also. Entire process order to delivery was 7 weeks for me. Your should be accepted next Tuesday and will quickly move to code 3000 after you are accepted. I went to 3300 the following week and received my TPW at that time. Chevy Customer Care says that sometimes TPWs are not issued, for whatever reason, and when they are, they usually come at 3300 or 3400.

Good luck, have fun, hope that helps!

If you have your order number, you can get an idea of your order status at the Chevy Order Tracking Site. See this post for more details between the Tracker status and the actual order status codes: Event Status Codes and Corresponding Order Tracker Status.

When I first spoke to MacMulkin on March 18th, I was told to expect 10 to 12 weeks for my CGM Z51 to be delivered. I overnighted the deposit to them the next day. The order was entered into workbench on March 20th. Just this morning my car went from Queued to Shipped on the Chevy Tracking site. MacMulkin is unfortunately serviced by rail then truck which is a 3 to 4 week process. Best case puts my car at the dealership around the 24th which would be a 9 1/2 week turnaround. Good luck!

Seems the ordering process has improved drastically since the first of the year. Customers and dealers have figured out the allocation system. My dealer still has some through end of 2014 production. I picked up my premium floor mats last evening and was shown 2015 features and colors. 2015 allocations have not been awarded to dealers yet.

The term "build sheet" is confusing me. Build sheets are normally paperwork that is used on the line during the manufacturing process.

Do you have something that indicates GM OrderWORKBENCH on it? That would be the actual order and the order number is on it. You get an order number as soon as the order is input into the system.

Some dealers don't input the order until they actually have the allocation to assign the order to, others input the order as soon as you tell them what you want. I don't know which way MacMulkin operates. Neither method makes any difference on when your car gets built as that is all based on your order getting assigned to an allocation.

As MacMulkin for your order number.
