According to the manual, the only things that lock when in Valet mode is the glovebox, the Infotainment screen (can't be lowered) and if a vert, the top.
It doesn't say anything about the center console

Another nitpicking BS thread. The Glove box locks. The screen locks. Both in valet mode. The console doesn't. Anything you need to secure put it into one of those places and drive the effin 460 hp sexy beast and quit your crying.

The center console is like other more recent Vette's, the cover is very close to the driveshaft torque tube. You can’t put very much in it! A lock would not be very useful! At least the C7 has the “hidden area” behind the center screen that can be locked! Could hide even a small pistol!

it won't kill me to move any items in the console to the screen cavity or glovebox if I'm worried about people getting in there...can't remember another car I've had with a locking console...I know the soccer mom SUV's do...
