Hey Ken,
Thanks for posting my car, I lost the pictures when I moved out of the North Carolina Home for the Criminally Tasteless.

PS. Some folks think the "Crossed Flags" logo is a little too much? I think it completes the look I was going for. In retrospect, the pool ***** were overkill.....oh well.
I think you summed it up in your last sentence. I do think its good to be aware, but you'll be fine.
If its any consolation, I did museum delivery on my 2008 AO Vert after going through Lemon Law litigation with GM on my previous Corvette. I chose the Museum Delivery because I learned the team there goes over the car top to bottom BEFORE delivery, and even has the ability to make magic happen before you take delivery if there is something glaringly wrong.
If you are concerned about the SMALL amount of issues, I would go that route. I did not for my C7 but have a trip planned to the museum mid may for my birthday.

Thanks for the comments - I am taking delivery at the museum and that's good to know.
Also thanks to all of you who offered positive comments. I realize the problem rate is very low and I am not really concerned about any issues. Now if I could just get Glenda the good witch to speed up the process...
Up until I ordered my C7 everything I read was positive. Best Corvette ever, flawless design, unbelievable value for money, great build quality, etc, etc, etc.
Now I am going into week 4 of gestation and after reading some of the posts I am convinced the engine will fall out before I leave the museum, only 10% of the fasteners on the car will be properly attached, the EPA will arrest me for illegally discharging oil in parking lots and if orange had been an available color and I had ordered it the orange peel in the paint finish would land the car a spot in the next Florida orange juice commercial...
Gotta quit reading the few horror stories...
I think we all read and worry about such information. But I can tell you that my C7 is absolutely perfect....not a single issue. Build quality is outstanding in every regard. Admittedly, it's only a month old....but it is truly perfect. You are going to LOVE that car!!!
Remember that online forums will always have a high level of issues reported relative to reality. People post to get help with their problems but you will not see hundreds of posts every day saying how great things are. It's the nature of the beast.
Having said that, reading it also makes you paranoid BMW had an issue with their early DCTs and I read so much about it and paid such close attention to my car, I almost convinced myself I had the problem too... even though I didn't
Cars are getting more complex, even Toyota has been knocked off its lofty perch for having no issues. The C7 is an amazing package, well worth the minimal risk that you might get one that has some issues to be worked out. You only really regret the things that you don't do.
