First it is a matter of opinion, everyone has one. Second it is the man or woman who spends the money who makes the correct choice for themselves. I saw a hideous looking C7 but I never said a thing.

What is important is the opinion. Ignore what you do not agree with because you'll never win an argument based on personal taste.

Have a great week ya'll.

I didn't think my 3LT Kalahari could look any better, and then you show yours with the upgraded wheel.

One example was a crystal red vert with flower pot orange top and guts very truly HIDEOUS looking. Honestly GM should not allow that combo to be built. Kalahari is nowhere near a tan or beige substitute. They need a vert top to match the brown stone interior and ditch that terrible orange top. I wonder if they changed the name from the exotic sounding Kalahari to flower pot orange if people would still order it??
YOU can puke all you want and stay away from Kalahari if you want, but here's a little tip: Stay away from giving advice on colors to others. No one cares what your seemingly colorblind opinions are. The more typical term for Kalahari is "Camel". I'm gonna guess Flower Pot won't catch on, but nice try.

To further prove you are clueless when it comes to color combos, a good number of people here would probably agree that the new DS Orange would be one exterior color NOT to match with Kalahari.

I love the idea of a 3LT Kalahari. I plan on getting Shark Grey - in my mind it sounds awesome. But I really would like to see pics of the combo before diving in. All the pics of Z06 version haven't really looked at the interior.

Please, please everyone

Do not order a Crystal Red convertible with 3LT Kalahari.

I want to be the only one with such a gorgeous car.

OP was smoking something he grew out of the flower pot he was talking about...

Nothing wrong with picture IMHO....

Love my color combo. Kalahari I find very classy...

Next time, just say "I don't care for Kalahari". Avoid strong words like "hideous" and your life here on CF will be more pleasant. Unless, of course, you need the attention....then, by all means, knock yourself out, and be prepared for the backlash.

Jeez! It's this type of thinking of the OP which is why most cars on the road today are white, black, grey or silver. Thank goodness a few people are willing to take a risk and break out of the mold. Look at cars of yesteryear. The exteriors and interiors came in all kinds of different colors. It make life not so bland.

Like I said it's terracotta tell me that interior is not the same as the tile roof and trim on that store.

Someone mentioned (I think) wanting the Kalahari in a C7 Z06. The Z06 convertible on display at the museum for Bash a couple weeks ago had the Adrenalin Red interior. In the presentation it was mentioned how they wanted the Z06 interior to be a little different from the Stingray - as you can see the red is not covering the entire dash nor the passenger side door armrest. They said they wanted it to be more "driver-centric". I'm not sure if I caught that it's only this way with the red or with all interior colors - I was busy looking at the car and taking some pictures while the fellow was talking... I would be disappointed in the upholstery if it wasn't like on the Stingray... Here are the pictures:

It's weird that they did the armrest on the driver's side but not the passenger side. I understand the "driver centric" part, but......

GM did the same thing with the C4s. In fact the C4s door panels were totally different between the Driver and passenger.

Funny you mention that. The lead interior designer Ryan Vaughn showed a slide with all the Z06 interiors. It showed a red armrest on the passenger side. I asked him why the Z06 vert on display had a black armrest on the passenger side. He said a last minute change was made after that car was built, some people felt that both armrests should match.

For a real cockpit effect how about that interior with nothing red at all on the passenger side, with a red competition driver seat and a black touring passenger seat

And yes, that's a hair scrunchie on the shifter. It's the wife's and was a special order option: order code keepthewifehappywhenthetop'sdown.

For the color blind OP, here's a flower pot. Nope, not the same color.

Hate to admit it, but that is pretty orange.... now I look at it.

Does not inspire hate and ridicule... but it is pretty orange...
