After reading many many threads here on new C7 sales I seem to find a common connection. It looks like anyone taking the GSM or Supplier Discount loses any bargaining status. Is it true that if taking a Supplier discount, the "new" MSRP is the final $$$ number? Just trying to dot all the I's and cross all the T's before I make the big move. Thanks, Bob
You're not gonna bargain lower than the price those discounts on your own. I'm getting over $6000 off my Z51 using supplier discount. There's no reason not to use it if you can.
The way I saw it, there was no deal unless you took a discount. They wouldn't budge at all from MSRP previous to accepting GMS and supplier. I don't expect to see deals of the century unless the economy takes a nose-dive, and then we'd be worried about other things instead of an additional 1-2k off an already tremendous bargain.
On a personal note, I did try to see if they'd turn my supplier into an employee discount for being a repeat customer... no luck. Heh.
Until supply exceeds demand your not going to have much buying power. It would be a very stupid dealer who discounts a car now that he can sell for a higher price in the afternoon. Having said that however the supply side is getting better every day and by next winter I suspect buyers will be able to negotiate discounts even on top of special pricing. I also believe the 2015 price increase will be very modest.

Well I guess my dealer is stupid because I'm getting over $6k of my Z51. I call it being upstanding .
