The excessive debris thrown unto the side of the fender must be a Z51 problem. I have not noticed excessive debris on my base car. Quite the contrary, I was just thinking how this design deeps most of the road dirt off the fender.

The GM accessory version come in black and look 100% OEM but add some extra coverage. They will blend with your color fine and disappear. I have them on my White coupe and they really aren't noticed unless you tell someone that you added them.

The tires are the same width, diameter and offset so debris should not matter whether the car is Z51 or not.
