GM has had the C7 at the ring, reportedly only for the purpose of dialing in the Euro-spec variation. No time was released but photos of an air-borne Vette were released. So all we know is the C7 literally flies at the ring. Likely the first ring time released will be for the Z06, probably means more for marketing that model than it means for the base model.

My guess is that they'll wait for the new ZO6 to try to blitz the 'Ring again. Word is that the first time on the GM track the '15 ZO6 dusted the C6 ZR1's lap record even before chassis tuning was done.

From what I read (though, could be rumor) the C7's time was in wet conditions, so they're not going to release the time. They'll have to run the C7 again when it's dry before they get a time they'll release.
