I'm glad I ordered my black interior with a 3lt rather than a 2lt. I think I would have regretted being stingy more than I would have ever regretted spending the extra money. Car should be at dealer tomorrow for me to see it for first time. Finger's crossed!
I finally had a chance to sit in a Black interior 3LT today and all I can say is WOW!
The look and feel of the door panels, dash etc are amazing! On top of the smell of leather all over you!
Until I sat in it today I've always said it's not worth the $$ if you are going with a black interior but I've changed my mind! If you can swing the extra $$ it's totally worth the extra up charge.
After I was done sitting in the 3LT, I got back into my 2LT and started feeling all the panels, dash and center console and was quite disappointed. LOL
yes, isnt it amazing when we speak from actual experience, how much more useful our opinions can be! who would have thought? 2 down, 7 billion to go.
I haven't checked out a 3LT yet, but I can tell you that the 2LT interior is a step down in leather quality from a C5's. It doesn't even feel like leather. The interior surfaces are a lot harder, too. As much as they ballyhooed the interior on the C7, I think they cut too many corners.

Seriously, what C5 did you own? After a 1SC interior C5, as well as two high option C6's, the C7 is a huge step up.
